Big research: a tree of sub-questions and reassembly

Some topics are too big for one run: 'should we enter the German market' is twenty questions dressed as one. We learn to build an issue tree, cut the topic into MECE branches with no overlaps or gaps, start with kill-questions, and synthesise bottom-up.
